1. A photoelectric conversion element comprising:
an electrically conductive thin layer; an organic photoelectric conversion layer; and a transparent electrically conductive thin layer, in this order, wherein: the organic photoelectric conversion layer contains (i) a fullerene or a fullerene derivative and (ii) a compound having a nonplanar structure such that there are at least two planes in each of which a ring is formed and which do not lie in the same plane; and the compound having a nonplanar structure is a molecule having a portion defined by two or more planar structures where the planar structures are bonded to form an SP2 orbital by making an angle except for 175° to 185°. |
