<p>Information systems, including computers, network appliances, home appliances, personal digital assistants, set-top boxes and smartphones are enhanced to include software and communications processes that permit conveying user preference and capability information to an adaptation service for the purpose of generating and returning transformations of user interfaces and content of applications and information necessary for operational configuration and setup. The system provides a universal enabling of user interfaces and content that can adapt to user capabilities, preferences and situations. In particular, this invention enables the information system environment for every individual user, regardless of situation or capability.</p> |
