Methods and systems for data analysis using covarying data. Eigenvalues and eigenvectors of one or more lagged covariance matrices of data obtained over time may be generated and used to enhance the data.

1. A computer-implemented method for use in analysis of data comprising:
providing a dataset representative of data obtained over time; generating a plurality of eigenvalues and a plurality of eigenvectors of at least one lagged covariance matrix for the dataset in the time domain; and reconstructing an enhanced dataset using the plurality of eigenvalues and eigenvectors and the dataset.
