Disclosed are a ship having sliding-type embarkation equipment and a control method thereof. The ship having sliding-type embarkation equipment comprises: a hermetic boarding structure stored in a structure storing groove formed inside the ship, and having a boarding entrance formed in a side therein; and a driving unit providing a driving force for the boarding structure to be drawn into an outward direction of a side of the ship in a sliding way and to be inserted into the a structure storing groove. |
