PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical formulation, a food, and a feed for prevention or treatment of various diseases caused by reduced adiponectin blood concentration, and insulin resistance, and the like by solving the substance which can significantly promote sirtuin activity in a biological cell using Citrus sudachi component.SOLUTION: It is found that (+)-Limonene-Trance-1,2-diol which is one of Citrus sudachi components has Sirt1 activity significantly. Thereby, it is revealed that the composition containing above (+)-Limonene-Trance-1,2-diol can be utilized for prevention and treatment of various diseases, such as metabolic syndrome, for example, diabetes, and dyslipidemia, as a sirtuin activation promoter. |
