<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical apparatus for dental use which can treat a gum part in an extremely short time and at low cost by guiding instantaneous light emitted by a xenon flash discharge tube to the surface and rear of the gum part in an oral cavity.SOLUTION: A medical apparatus for dental use includes: a light emitting part including at least a xenon flash discharge tube and a reflection umbrella; a treatment part for guiding and radiating instantaneous light to surface and rear regions of the gums by the instantaneous light emitted by the xenon flash discharge tube being supplied; a control part for controlling a lighting action of the light emitting part; and a light guide part for guiding the instantaneous light emitted by the xenon flash discharge tube of the light emitting part to the treatment part. The treatment part includes optical path control means for controlling an optical path of the instantaneous light so that the instantaneous light guided by the light guide part reaches the surface and rear regions of the gums. Thereby, the instantaneous light emitted by the xenon flash discharge tube is radiated at the surface and rear regions of the gums, so that treatment in an oral cavity can be achieved, for example, by the instantaneous light of the xenon flash discharge tube itself or by a combination of the instantaneous light and other medicine.</p> |
