PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush and a rotary brush facilitating removing attachments adhering to brush parts.SOLUTION: A brush 32 includes a base cloth 33, and brush parts 35 provided on an external surface of the base cloth 33, and having a plurality of brush threads 34. In the base cloth 33, a plurality of the brush parts 35 are arranged at intervals. Since the plurality of brush parts 35 are arranged at intervals, even when attachments such as dust adhere, they hardly twine around the brush parts 35. Even when dust twines around the brush parts 35, the dust can be removed through gaps between the brush parts 35. Consequently, it is easy to remove attachments such as dust, adhering to the brush parts 35.
