PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery voltage detection apparatus detecting abnormality of a switching control device.SOLUTION: A battery module to be connected to a capacitor 10 is selected from among battery modules of a battery pack 70. A selection signal of plural bits corresponding to the selected battery module is outputted. On the basis of the selection signal, switches connected to opposite ends of the selected battery module are turned into a closed state. Abnormality of a decoder 50 is detected in a case that when a voltage applied to the capacitor 10 is detected and a polarity of the detected voltage is different from a polarity of a voltage normally detected for the selected battery module. In a case where any bit of the selection signal is selected as a prescribed bit, a combination of two selection signals in which voltages of different polarities are applied to the capacitor 10 are included in a combination of two selection signals in which signals of the prescribed bit are different from each other while signals of a bit other than the prescribed bit are equal to each other, in cases where the prescribed bit is set to be 1 and is set to be 0. |
