PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of an unexpected accident due to the use of portable terminal equipment while walking.SOLUTION: A portable telephone 1 includes: a position detection part 20 for detecting the current position of the portable telephone 1; a first storage part 12a for storing the position data of a station; a photographing part 21 for performing a photographing operation; a second storage part 12b for storing data for collation to be used for recognizing a safety line arranged at the edge of a platform; an image recognition part 32 for recognizing the image of the safety line from the photographed photographic image; an acceleration detection part 22 and a walking recognition part 31 for detecting that a user carrying the portable telephone 1 is walking; an image output part 13; a determination part 33 for determining whether or not the current position is a station, whether or not the image of the safety line has been recognized from the photographic image, and whether or not the user carrying the portable telephone 1 is walking; and a notification control part 34 for allowing the image output part 13 to display an attention reminding screen 104 on the basis of the determination result of the determination part 33.
