OPTICAL INFORMATION READER AND LIGHTING CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information processor capable of reading an image using an image sensor outputting data of a read image within a certain period of time during one frame period while projecting light to an object, and reducing power consumption while projecting light required for reading.SOLUTION: In a bar code reader 100, a sensor control part 111 sets the time of one frame of a line image sensor on the basis of an output time required for the data output of one frame from the line image sensor and a lighting time of an LED; and a light source control part 112 performs a first light control for lighting the LED for the lighting time after finishing the data output within the time of one frame and a second light control for lighting the LED for the lighting time so as to include the entire period performing the data output within the time of one frame.
