<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for processing subscriber information in a wireless communications system. According to the present invention, when UE performs handover, a source eNB provides specific service subscriber information. MME which receives the specific service subscriber information confirms whether a target eNB provides a specific service to the UE through a cell group service level and specific service subscriber information stored in the MME. When the UE is subscribed in a specific service, the target eNB is set to provide a specific service and the MME provides specific service supporting information to the target eNB. Then, the target eNB sets context according to the specific service supporting information and provides the specific service to the UE. In addition, the MME notifies that the target eNB provides the specific service to the UE to SGW and PGW. According to the present invention, the performance of the entire system may be improved by reducing traffic for a home subscriber server (HSS) because the apparatus does not need to ask whether the specific service of the UE is subscribed to the HSS. In addition, the MME notifies that the target eNB provides the specific service to the UE to the SGW and the PGW. Therefore, that the target eNB provides the specific service to the UE can be utilized as information to charge payment for the specific service.</p> |
