<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forging device which, while reducing the generation amount of burrs when a long molding is obtained by forging, holds easily the molding obtained during the conveyance thereof.SOLUTION: A first and second knockout pins 52a and 52b are arranged at a lower mold 30 of a preforming mold, which is included in a forging device. The first and second knockout pins 52a and 52b are disposed at the position where each end surface 12a and 12b of a longitudinal direction of a preformed article 12 is placed. Moreover, the conveying mechanism has a first and second holding portions 48a and 48b for holding each end of the preformed article 12. Since a recessed part 66, into which the preformed article 12, which is supported by the first and second knockout pins 52a and 52b, enters is formed in a pawl member 58 of the first and second holding portions 48a and 48b, support pawls 68a and 68b are provided, the tips of which are branched into two. The first and second holding portions 48a and 48b further have a pressing member 60 for pressing the preform article 12 in a compressing direction.</p> |
