<p>The present invention relates to a circuit for protecting and strengthening a lithium ion battery, which is installed and used in an emergency lamp for firefighting, a streetlamp, or an emergency lamp of various buildings, from overcharge. In this case, a first battery protection circuit unit (30) and a converter (80) are connected to the battery (50), a switch (60) for changing opening and closing of a circuit is connected to the converter (80) and the battery (50), an adjusting unit (70) for adjusting a voltage or a current is connected to the switch (80), a microcomputer (10) protecting a charge voltage circuit from an overvoltage is connected to the adjusting unit (70), the battery (50), and the converter (80). And an overvoltage preventing unit (20) automatically preventing flow of an excessive current greater than a predefined value is connected to the battery (50) and the converter (80). Since the protection circuit (30) with strengthened safety against a flow of an overvoltage or an overcurrent is provided in the battery protection circuit (30), significantly enhancing quality and reliability of a product, various needs of consumers as users may be satisfied, providing a favorable image.</p> |
