Embodiments of the present invention relate to methods and apparatus for aligning a tooth of a patient. Particularly, although not exclusively, certain embodiments of the present invention relate to apparatus comprising one or more dental brackets for securing to a tooth and a wire element. Certain embodiments of the present invention relate to apparatus which are for cosmetically altering the alignment of one or more teeth whilst causing minimal to no disruption of the occlusion and/or biting position of the patient's teeth distal to the patient's canine teeth.
