<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for joining separators of an electric device capable of sufficiently joining a pair of separators containing fusing materials and heat-resistant materials and of which the heat-resistant materials are faced each other.SOLUTION: In a method for joining separators of an electric device (bagging electrode 11), ceramic separators 40 containing fusing materials (polypropylene layers 41) and heat-resistant materials (ceramics layers 42) laminated on the polypropylene layers, and at higher fusing temperature than those of the polypropylene layers are used. A pair of ceramic separators of which the ceramics layers sandwiching a positive electrode 20 are faced each other are joined. While incising the ceramics layers of the pair of separators through the polypropylene layers to be moved to surrounding areas and to be made rough by a joining process, the fusing materials at the incised parts are melted and joined by an energization member heated by intermittently applying current.</p> |
