A driveless agricultural auxiliary vehicle (10) is disclosed, having at least two parallel belt-band running gears arranged on opposite longitudinal sides of a surface or platform, or having supporting wheels arranged on both sides of the platform. The platform serves to receive a load trailer (40) in a load-bearing manner. When used for travelling off-road, the auxiliary vehicle (10) is connected to an agricultural towing vehicle (60) via the support surfaces, immobilized on the surface or platform, for the wheels of the load trailer (40) and the drawbar (46) thereof or some other coupling element. The invention also comprises a method for handling agricultural load transporting operations with routes and/or transport routes which comprise transport sections on unsurfaced arable land and/or on a surfaced underlying surface, in particular on roads or lanes. In the method, a load trailer (40) towed by an agricultural tractor (60) is transferred onto the auxiliary vehicle (10) in preparation for travelling off-road on unsurfaced arable land. Finally, the invention comprises a towing combination which comprises an agricultural towing vehicle (60) and a load trailer (40) hitched to the rear side or front side thereof. The trailer (40) stands on the platform of the driveless auxiliary vehicle (10) having at least two belt-band running gears or having supporting wheels with pneumatic tyres, and is connected by way of its drawbar (46) to the agricultural towing vehicle (60). |
