PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laying method that can newly lay a sea-bottom pipeline while protecting an existing line directly laid on the sea bottom without needing sea-bottom work of a diver, when the sea-bottom pipeline is newly laid so as to intersect with the exist line.SOLUTION: In a sea-bottom pipeline laying method, supports are previously mounted to pipes arranged at front and back of a portion intersected with a cable and an existing pipeline directly arranged on the sea bottom; a pipeline to which the supports are mounted is delivered from a facility ship for submergence and sinking; and thereby the pipeline is supported by the supports so as to be laid above the existing line. |
