PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods and apparatus for addressing wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) behavior in response to configuration, configuration parameters and access issues related to an activation/deactivation process when the WTRU is configured with multiple serving cells or carrier aggregation.SOLUTION: In multi-carrier wireless systems, the WTRU may be assigned multiple serving cells, each consisting of one DL component carrier and optionally also one UL component carrier. The WTRU may act and respond differently if the WTRU may be configured with multiple serving cells. |
