<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detector capable of achieving stable position detection performance even when a detection signal of a magnetic sensor is varied significantly.SOLUTION: A position detector 201 of an embodiment is configured so that a threshold for deciding a central coordinate of a rubber magnet tape 107 can be varied according to intensity of a signal obtained from a magnetic sensor array 105, the signal obtained from the magnetic sensor array 105 detects presence and a coordinate of the rubber magnet tape 107. The threshold is set so that the coordinate position of the signal obtained from the magnetic sensor array 105 substantially matches width of the rubber magnet tape 107.</p> |
