[Problem] To provide an engine system provided with an intake bypass device in which the operating range of a compressor can be expanded and exhaust turbine output is never insufficient. [Solution] An engine system (1) provided with an intake bypass device, wherein the intake bypass device (20) comprises a bypass passage (14) connecting an intake passage (4) at a point downstream of a compressor (10) of a turbo charger (12) and an exhaust passage (6) at a point upstream of an exhaust turbine (8) of the turbo charger (12), a bypass valve (16) that is disposed in the bypass passage and that controls the flow of compressed intake air in the bypass passage (14), and a heating means (18) for heating the compressed intake air flowing through the bypass passage.
