The present invention relates to a butterfly valve, and more specifically, to a butterfly valve comprising: a valve body having a flow path which fluids pass; a disk located in the flow path, rotating by receiving power from a driving shaft, and opening and closing the flow path; and an opening and closing operation unit axis-rotating the driving shaft, and operating the disk. Also, a magnetism generating unit which outputs magnetism by power supplied from the outside is formed in the disk, and a permanent magnet mutually responding to the magnetism generating unit is installed on the outside. The butterfly valve of the present invention induces electromagnetic force when opening and closing the disk, transfers the induced magnetism to the disk, and labor-saving opening and closing the disk so that a worker can rapidly and easily open and close a manual opening and closing operation unit with small power. Also, a power operated opening and closing operation unit can reduce capacity of a motor, thereby promoting performance per price.
