<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system capable of enhancing convenience of a holding image formation function. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming system includes: a server function unit 47 provided in at least one printer (anyone of printers 5, 5A, ..., 5X), configured to receive and hold a print job, and also, transmit job holding information related to the holding of the print job to other printers; and a client function unit 49 provided in at least another printer, and configured to receive and hold the job holding information, and also, make the server function unit 47 transmit the print job based on the corresponding job holding information in response to the input of an execution instruction by another printer. The image formation is performed according to the print job held by itself in response to the execution instruction input by the one printer, and the image formation is performed according to the print job transmitted from the server function unit 47 in response to the input of the execution instruction in another printer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
