The method involves partially carrying an opaque layer i.e. metal layer, with laser, where the opaque layer comprises an aperture or is made of a material. The opaque layer is changed during radiation in such a manner that the opaque layer is transparent or translucent at a radiated region. The opaque layer is laminated between two plastic layers, and a data carrier (1) is manufactured with two metal films (2), which are arranged parallel together. The metal films are attached to an opaque core film in a window, where the plastic layers comprise thickness of 50 micrometer. An independent claim is also included for a multilayered data carrier. |
