<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger for an electric movable body that can automatically adjust charging power such that demand power does not exceed a target demand power amount, although a conventional charger cannot. <P>SOLUTION: If a power reception facility has a demand monitoring function, a charger obtains a maximum supply power value which the charger can supply at present. If the power reception facility does not have the demand monitoring function, a calculation unit provided inside the charger calculates the maximum supply power value, and the charger notifies an electric movable body of the maximum supply power value or the maximum voltage and maximum current to supply the maximum supply power. The charger receives an instruction value of charging current which the electric movable body optimally calculates based on the information of the notification, and supplies charging current according to the instruction value. The charger once completes charging at timing when unit time for demand monitoring switches, and resumes charging after the maximum supply power value has been renewed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
