<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning roller in which an elastic foamed body spirally wound on an outer circumference of a shaft is hardly peeled off an end of the spiral direction, and the strength at the end is high, and which excellently scrapes fine particles from a surface of a charging roller. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of the cleaning roller comprises steps of: winging the belt like elastic foamed body 21 on the outer circumference of the shaft 11; fixing the belt like elastic foamed body 21 on the outer circumference of the shaft 11 by using a single-sided adhesive tape provided on one side of the belt like elastic foamed body 21; and heat-pressing the end in the spiral direction of the belt like elastic foamed body 21 spirally wound on the shaft 11 to compress the end to fix it in the compressed shape so that the end is thinner than the other part and has a higher apparent density. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
