摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal device having high productivity that has a plurality of vibration modes without mounting a plurality of crystal vibration elements on an identical element mounting member. <P>SOLUTION: In a crystal device, a cover member and an element mounting member on which a crystal vibration element is mounted are joined together, thereby hermetically sealing the crystal vibration element. The crystal vibration element used in the crystal device includes: a tuning-fork-shaped crystal piece 131 that has a rectangular-shaped plate-like base 131a with both main surfaces parallel to a y-axis and a z-axis, and a pair of vibration arms 131b that extend in an identical direction from respective side surfaces of the base 131a; excitation electrodes 132 for thickness longitudinal vibration that are provided on the respective main surfaces of the base 131a; excitation electrodes for flexural vibration that are provided in the respective vibration arms 131b; first predetermined connection electrodes 134a that are electrically connected to the respective excitation electrodes 132 for thickness longitudinal vibration; and second predetermined connection electrodes 134b that are electrically connected to the excitation electrodes for flexural vibration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p>
