<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range image processing system capable of easily adjusting a position of a range image sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The range image processing system includes a range image sensor 1 detecting a predetermined measurement object distance value, and an image data processing device 2 provided with an image processing circuit 46 which extracts a characteristic part from a range image generated based on the distance value of each pixel to be input from the range image sensor 1. The image processing circuit 46 extracts the adjustment object characteristic part from the range image generated based on the distance value to be input from the range image sensor 1 to be adjusted.
