<p>The present invention relates to a heat treating furnace and, more specifically, to a heat treating furnace using a discontinuous heater comprising: a preheating zone to preheat a material; a heating zone to heat the preheated material; a maintaining zone to maintain the heated material at a high temperature; and a cooling zone to cool the high temperature material. An electric heater used in the heating zone and the maintaining zone forms a non-heating part in a space to a heating part to reduce temperature variations inside the furnace, thereby carrying out uniform heat treatment for the material.</p> |
