<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can reduce a load of work to replace a constitutional member having glossiness on the surface.SOLUTION: There is provided an image forming apparatus including a constitutional member having glossiness on the surface, the image forming apparatus further including light irradiation means for irradiating the surface of the constitutional member with light, light detection means for receiving light reflected on the surface of the constitutional member that has been irradiated with light to output an output value, determination means for determining whether or not the glossiness on the surface of the constitutional member has been reduced on the basis of the output value of the light detection means, and glossiness recovery means for performing operation to recover the glossiness on the surface if the glossiness on the surface of the constitutional member is determined to have been reduced.</p> |
