PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for restoring the color of a painted surface without polishing the deteriorated painted surface with a polisher; a method for lowering the cost required for the application; and a method for easily executing the work in a short time.SOLUTION: An agent for regenerating a painted surface includes an inorganic fine particles-containing synthetic resin emulsion of acrylic copolymer, with addition of a surfactant, a film-forming aid, and water. The inorganic fine particles have a particle diameter of 5 to 300 nm. The amount of the inorganic fine particle is 0.05 to 1.5 parts by weight relative to 1 part by weight of the resin content in the synthetic resin emulsion of acrylic copolymer. A method for regenerating a painted surface includes each of the steps in application of the agent for regenerating a painted surface. The method for regenerating a painted surface includes the steps of: cleaning a deteriorated painted surface; applying the agent for regenerating a painted surface to the cleaned painted surface without polishing, and air-drying the agent for regenerating a painted surface applied to the painted surface. |
