摘要 <p>An electrochemical cell is presented. The cell includes a first component, a second component, and an intermediate structure disposed between the first component and the second component. The first component includes alpha alumina and the second component includes nickel. The intermediate structure includes a first layer adjacent to the first component, a second layer adjacent to the second component, and a reaction layer. The first layer includes an active braze alloy that has greater than about 50 weight percent nickel, less than about 10 weight percent of an active metal, and has a liquidus temperature in a range from about 1000 °C to about 1250 °C. The second layer includes an interlayer metal having a coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) value less than about 5.5 ppm/°C. The reaction layer is disposed between the first component and the first layer. Batteries including a plurality of interconnected electrochemical cells are also provided. FIG. 6</p>
