<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device that uniformly dries an entire image to improve uniformity of the image quality by optimizing an inversion position of a carriage, in the printing device including a drying unit for applying drying energy from the upper part of the carriage to dry ink.SOLUTION: A printing device includes: a carriage on which an inkjet head is mounted and which reciprocates while facing a sheet; and a drying unit for applying energy from the upper part of the carriage to the sheet to dry ink. When the carriage reciprocates, the carriage is inverted at an inversion position where the carriage does not block application of the energy to the end part of the sheet or the end part of an image formed on the sheet.</p> |
