The invention relates to an impregnating method for impregnating electrical technical components, preferably stator bars for generators, by means of an impregnating device (1), wherein the impregnating device (1) comprises a forming fixture (3) having an impregnation chamber (4) for at least one component, a temperature control device (5) connected to the forming device (3) for heating the forming fixture (3), a vacuum device (6) for evacuating the impregnation chamber (4), a material store (26) for impregnating agent for feeding and/or draining an impregnating agent, at least one media connection (24, 25) for a compressed gas and/or for compressed air, and a control device (8) for capturing, storing, and analyzing process data and for controlling the impregnating device (1), wherein the control device (8) is connected to a sensor network (10) comprising a plurality of sensors (11 to 21, 27) for capturing measurement and state data, wherein the component is inserted into an impregnation chamber (4) formed between two forming parts of the forming fixture, wherein the impregnation chamber (4) is evacuated by means of the vacuum device (6) after inserting the component and closing the forming fixture (3) and before filling with the impregnation agent (4), wherein the pressure in the impregnation chamber (4) is determined automatically and the impregnation chamber (4) is automatically filled with the impregnating agent when a prescribed vacuum is achieved, and wherein the fill level of the impregnation chamber (4) is determined automatically and a compressed gas or compressed air is applied to the impregnating agent automatically when a prescribed fill level of the impregnating agent is achieved. |
