PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell including a solid electrolyte film, a fuel electrode, and an air electrode, in which peeling is hardly caused at the fringe part of the air electrode.SOLUTION: This solid oxide type fuel cell includes a fuel electrode 10, a solid electrolyte film 20, and an air electrode 30. The air electrode 30 is composed of a thin plate-like air electrode active layer 31 formed on the top face of a solid electrolyte film 20, and a thin plate-like air electrode collector layer 32 formed on the top face of the air electrode active layer 31. In a part of the side face or the entire circumference of the air electrode collector layer 32, projecting and recessed parts are formed along the circumferential direction of the side face. The top part of each projecting part and the bottom part of each recessed part are each formed in a circular arc shape. The ratio of [the circular arc radius of the top part of the projecting part] to [the circular arc radius of the bottom part of the recessed part] is 0.4-2.5, and a height difference between the uppermost top part of the projecting part and the lowest bottom part of the recessed part is 0.05-1 mm. |
