<p>The present invention relates to a power supply apparatus for an audio amplifier. A power supply apparatus for an audio amplifier according to the present invention includes a power supply part which supplies an AC voltage of a necessary size by receiving an AC voltage from the outside; a transformer which receives a primary part from the AC voltage supplied from the power supply part and outputs an AC voltage of a different size to a secondary part according to the turns ratio of the primary and the secondary part; a current detection part which senses current flowing in the secondary of the transformer; a control circuit part which processes the current of the primary part of a transformer and a current detected by the current detection part and controls the on/off of the switch device of the power supply part; and a circuit part which is prepared on one side of the control circuit part and limits the total power capacity when a peak value is generated in the load output of the secondary side of the transformer. According to the present invention, the malfunction of the overcurrent protection circuit of the primary part according to the high output of the secondary part of the transformer and the breakage of a switch device of the power supply part of the primary part due to transient resonance deviation can be prevented.</p> |
