PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber unit for optical fiber sensors capable of firmly nipping the optical fiber unit with a jig while avoiding damage to an optical fiber cable.SOLUTION: The optical fiber unit for optical fiber sensors comprises an optical fiber cable, a shank, and a head part. The shank has an outer circumferential surface provided with a male screw and a through-hole into which the optical fiber cable is inserted. The head part is a polygonal column connected to the shank. The head part has a first side surface, a second side surface, a third side surface, and a fourth side surface. The first side surface is adjacent to the second side surface and the third side surface between the second side surface and the third side surface. The second side surface is adjacent to the first side surface and the fourth side surface between the first side surface and the fourth side surface. The optical fiber cable passes through the interior of the head part and comes out of at least one of the first side surface and the second side surface in a direction substantially parallel to the third side surface and the fourth side surface. |
