<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device that, in first line printing, can control energization to heater elements corresponding to pixels which form dots in second line printing performed following the first line printing.SOLUTION: A control device 100 for a thermal head 132 having a plurality of heater elements linearly arranged, comprises: acquisition means 210 that acquires information about pixels that form dots in second line printing; and energization control means 220 that, in the first line printing, performs dot formation-energization for performing energization of the heater elements for formation of dots in the first line printing on the basis of pixel data relating to the first line printing, and read-ahead energization for performing energization on the basis of the pixel information acquired by the acquisition means 210 after the dot formation-energization, in the first line printing and the second line printing which perform continuously line printing using the plurality of heater elements 1326.</p> |
