A holder (1) for packaging articles, displaying them and offering them for sale, comprising at least one pallet unit (2) adapted for carrying, a number of articles or layers of articles separated by intermediate trays (10), the pallet unit having an upwardly and downwardly directed rim flange (3, 4) which may be discontinuous, a levelling device (5, 17, 20) being present by means of which the pallet unit can be moved up and down, said holder further comprising means (13, 14) for the support or easy displacement of the filled holder.
