A card shooter apparatus comprising: a card shooter unit provided with a card housing unit that stores a plurality of cards in a horizontally stacking manner, and an opening through which the cards are slid and taken out onto a game table from the card housing unit; an optical sensor that receives reflected light of light irradiated to end surfaces of the plurality of cards stored in the card housing unit; a playing card number counting unit that receives a signal of the optical sensor to count the number of the plurality of cards stored in the card housing unit; and a number count determination unit that determines whether or not the number of the plurality of cards stored in the card housing unit completes a predetermined number by an output of the playing card number counting unit, and outputs a result, wherein the optical sensor is arranged at an upper part of the card housing unit, and is arranged over a stacking direction of the plurality of cards so as to be able to receive the reflected light from the end surfaces of the stored plurality of cards, and wherein the optical sensor is further provided with scanning means that moves the optical sensor.
