A planetary gear device (1) is provided with a sun gear (2), a plurality of planet gears (3) which mesh with the sun gear (2), and a baffle unit (5) which is disposed in a gap in a circumferential direction between the adjacent planet gears (3). The baffle unit (5) comprises a first introduction opening (25) which opens radially inward in order to introduce lubricating oil (OL) with which tooth surfaces (2a, 3a) of the sun gear (2) and the planet gears (3) have been lubricated into the baffle unit (5), an end wall (30) which forms one end in an axial direction of the first introduction opening (25), a discharge opening (26) for the lubricating oil (OL) in the baffle unit (5), and a guide part (27A, 27B) which is provided at least at a side on the back side in the rotation direction of the sun gear (2) of the baffle unit (5), covers the first introduction opening (25) from the circumferential direction, and guides the lubricating oil (OL) to the outer periphery of the planet gear (3) adjacent thereto.
