PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core member for soil-retaining wall having a simple structure and capable of removing an upper part of the core member, and a removal method of the upper part of the core member.SOLUTION: The core member 1 includes: an upper core member 2 of a shaped steel material which has first flanges 2a and 2b and a first web 2c; a lower core member 3 of a shaped steel material which has second flanges 3a and 3b and a second web 3c; and coupling means 4. The coupling means 4 is arranged to hold the first flanges 2a and 2b and the second flanges 3a and 3b to be flush with each other, and by applying larger force than a predetermined value to the upper core member 2 in a direction perpendicular to a web plane of the first web 2c, the coupling strength of the coupling means 4 in the upper end part and the lower end part is made to be different from each other so that the upper core member 2 is inclined and the coupling therebetween is released. In the upper core member removal method, after a space is made at the side to which the core member 1 is inclined, the upper core member 2 is inclined and removed. |
