<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasoline composition which excels in an environmental performance that the emission of carbon dioxide (CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>) is greatly decreased or the like, in which the operability and the oxidation stability are excellent, and further which has excellent abrasion resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The gasoline composition includes 5-25 vol% of isobutyl alcohol and a gasoline base, and meets the following requirements of (1)-(7). (1) A research method octane number is at least 96 and less than 103. (2) Sulfur content is at most 10 ppm by mass. (3) Aromatic content is at most 25 vol%. (4) Benzene content is at most 1.0 vol%. (5) Olefin content is at most 30 vol%. (6) A Reid vapor pressure (RVP) is 60-90 kPa. (7) A 30% distillate temperature is 40-90°C, a 50% distillate temperature is 70-100°C, a 70% distillate temperature is 95-125°C, and a 90% distillate temperature is 110-170°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
