<p>According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a compressing apparatus comprising: one or more impellers; a rotary shaft to operate the impellers; a pinion gear installed on the rotary shaft; a bull gear to transmit power to the pinion gear; a main driving shaft on which the bull gear is installed; a housing to accept the bull gear; a volute casing with a flow passage to be installed on the housing; and a diffuser part arranged in a space between the impellers and the flow passage. The compressing apparatus limits the shape of the flow passage of the volute casing, thereby improving aerodynamic performance and reducing mechanical losses.</p> |
