Ink is supplied to a printing cylinder through nozzles supplied through a series of rotary vane pumps 1, Fig. 1, and each or all of the pump housings 2 are displaceable to adjust the ink supply, each by means of a push member 4<SP>1</SP> actuated through a roller 5 by an eccentric disc 3. The discs 3 are mounted on a shaft 6 and are adjustable together by rotation of the shaft or individually by adjusting pins 7 movable between abutments 8, 9 or by discs keyed to the shaft and each operatively connected to the shaft by a magnet 10, the magnets being selectively energized. Alternatively, the eccentric discs actuate push members (14), Fig, 2, and rods (16) acting through bell-cranks (17) on a duct blade (12) engaging a ductor roller (13). |
