<p>The present invention relates to a power conversion apparatus for a photovoltaic power generation system. According to the present invention, the power conversion apparatus includes terminal blocks for connecting the cables of a photovoltaic generator and an inverter, terminal blocks for connecting the cables of the inverter and a load, and terminal blocks for connecting the cables of the load and a power supply device. The power conversion apparatus performs the following procedures: enabling the cables to be connected and separated by the terminal blocks based on the temperature of the terminal blocks; detecting the temperature of a supplying-side terminal block as well as a load-side terminal block for both the photovoltaic generator and the power supply device; and separating the terminal blocks as well as a fuse connected between a supplying-side terminal and a load-side terminal in order to prevent the power of the photovoltaic generator and the power supply device from being supplied to the load in case the terminal blocks are overheated, thereby preventing power loss. As a result, the present invention can prevent the oxidation of the terminal blocks due to overheating, can avoid the vicious circle of oxidation and overheating, and can prevent the loss of property due to fire.</p> |
