PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable x-ray diffraction measurement apparatus which can be held by human power and can confirm an image of a measurement position.SOLUTION: The portable x-ray diffraction apparatus includes: x-ray irradiation means for irradiating a sample with parallel x rays from an oblique direction; diffraction x-ray detection means for condensing and detecting diffraction x rays of parallel components out of x rays diffracted by the sample irradiated with the x rays by the x-ray irradiation means; and signal processing means for processing a signal outputted from the diffraction x-ray detection means having detected the diffraction x rays. In an x-ray diffraction method, the sample is irradiated with parallel x rays having continuous wavelengths; the parallel components are extracted from the diffraction x rays diffracted by the sample irradiated with the x-rays, and condensed; the condensed diffraction x rays are detected by an energy dispersion type detection element; and a signal detected by the detection element is processed. |
