A method for designing a D/A converter inside an LSI is characterized by calculating the ratio between the length and width of a unit element from the physical quantity of the element, calculating the product of the length and width of the unit element as a value satisfying the accuracy allowable as a result of the division using a Pelgrom coefficient of the physical quantity, calculating the dimensions of the length and width of the unit element from simultaneous equations in the two, and when one of the calculated dimensions of the length and width does not satisfy a semiconductor design criterion, substituting a value satisfying the semiconductor design criterion for the one and calculating the other.
|
