PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device which improves the assemblability of a structure for reducing friction between a pair of members, which move relative to each other for impact absorption during a secondary collision, and concurrently stabilizes an impact absorption load during the secondary collision when the structure is used.SOLUTION: When a secondary collision occurs, a movable bracket 24 may move relative to a fixed bracket 23 toward the downstream side in a movement direction Z1 along with a steering member. A slide member 89 assembled to the movable bracket 24 includes a body part 90 and a folded part 91. The body part 90 is provided over an entire region of an upper surface 32A of the movable bracket 24 (which faces the fixed bracket 23) in the movement direction Z1, is inserted into a space between the upper surface 32A and the fixed bracket 23, and slidably contacts with the fixed bracket 23 during the secondary collision. The folded part 91 hooks on the movable bracket 24 from the downstream side in the movement direction Z1. |
