<p>Provided is a hybrid construction machine which can prevent excessive charging of a power storage device. The hybrid construction machine includes: an engine; a power generation motor; a hydraulic pump; a hydraulic actuator which operates using the hydraulic pump as a hydraulic source; an actuator regeneration unit performing a regenerative operation which generates regenerative electric power for the actuator using oil returned from the hydraulic actuator; the power storage device; a charge detector; and a control unit. The control unit performs regenerative control including: charging the power storage device by power generated by the power storage device and the regenerative electric power for the actuator generated by the regenerative operation of the actuator regeneration unit; assisting the engine due to a motor operation of the power generation motor by the power accumulated by the power storage device; and limiting the regenerative electric power for the actuator by the actuator regeneration unit and stopping a power generation operation of the power generation motor when the charge rate of the power storage device exceeds a limitation value of the predetermined charge rate of the power.</p> |
