PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode plate capable of increasing battery capacity and improving durability, and a lithium ion secondary battery or the like including the negative electrode plate.SOLUTION: A negative electrode plate 131 for a lithium ion secondary battery includes a negative electrode collector plate 132 and a negative electrode active material layer 133 formed on the negative electrode collector plate. The negative electrode plate 131 contains a negative electrode active material which produces a compound through a reaction with lithium ions to absorb the lithium ions, and includes a recessed groove 133m provided in the negative electrode active material layer 133, the recessed groove relaxing a stress generated in the negative electrode active material layer 133 due to the expansion and contraction of the negative electrode active material in charge/discharge. |
